What you will need

- A small amount of dry soil from bank grounds, only if the property owner or authorised staff permit collection.
- One clean, dry jar with a secure lid.

You do not need expensive materials. Avoid entering restricted grounds, digging around a bank, or removing stones from landscaping. If permission is unavailable, use stones and clean soil from your own property or purchase them from a garden supplier. You can dedicate these materials to the same intention without claiming that they carry someone else’s wealth.

How to prepare your Stone & Soil jar
1. Gather your materials respectfully.
Collect seven small, loose stones from a permitted place. Choose stones without sharp edges. Take only a small amount of soil, and avoid material contaminated with waste, oil, or chemicals.
Respect for the place and its owners is part of a responsible practice.
2. Clean the stones and dry them fully.
Rinse away loose dirt, wipe the stones with your cloth, and allow them to dry. Use a dry jar and dry soil to help prevent trapped moisture and mould. Wash your hands after handling soil.
3. Name your intention.

When and how often to practise
Prepare the jar at a quiet time when you can give it your full attention. A morning before work may be convenient, but there is no verified requirement for a particular day, hour, or moon phase.
If it suits your routine, repeat the declaration once before beginning work. Continue for as long as the practice feels meaningful. There is no established duration or guaranteed timetable for financial results.
Caring for the jar
Keep the lid secure and wipe the outside when dusty. Do not add food, milk, honey, or other perishable ingredients. If moisture, mould, or an unpleasant smell develops, empty the jar and clean it.
When you decide to end the practice, return uncontaminated stones and soil to your own garden or another permitted location. Do not leave the jar, glass, or other litter outdoors.
